About
the programme:
The
Communication Skills Programme is aimed at any person who will benefit
in acquiring verbal, written and non-verbal skills within organisational
context.
Some of the areas covered in this programme are:

The workshop
outcome:
After completion
of this workshop the participant should be able to apply and practice
effective communication skills.
Specific outcomes
of the workshop content:
Participants
will achieve the workshop outcome by being able to:
- Know the
necessary theoretical background on organisational communication.
- Demonstrate
effective verbal and non-verbal communication.
- Use communication
skills to effectively work with conflict situations.
- Put together
and demonstrate a short presentation.
- Knowing
meeting procedures and using effective communication within meetings.
- Utilise
the knowledge gained on effective written communication the actual writing
of documentation.
Training methodology:
The
methodology is based on interactive learning, i.e. learners will learn
by doing. Furthermore learners will use examples from their own environments,
thus ensuring that the learning is anchored at their workplace. Most of
the interactive learning will take the form of simulated exercises where
participants negotiate towards certain outcomes or demonstrate the skills
taught.
As with all DCT training programmes, we strive to effect actual change
back at the workplace through effective and practical outcomes based training.
