About
the programme:
The
purpose of this programme is to sensitise managers to the broader context
of managing human resources and their own specific role. Starting off
with a general introduction of human resource management within the
South African context and then moving to more detailed aspects, such
as:

act, Basic Conditions of Employment act, etc)

Workshop outcome:
On
completion of this programme the participant must understand the broader
context of managing human resources as well as more specific aspects of
the HR function.

and on completion of the programme a Certificate with Credits will be

Training
methodology:
The
methodology is based on interactive learning, i.e. learners will learn
by doing. Furthermore learners will use examples from their own environments,
thus ensuring that the learning is anchored at their workplace. Most of
the interactive learning will take the form of simulated exercises and
case studies where participants will demonstrate the skills taught.
As with all DCT training programmes, we strive to effect actual change
back at the workplace through effective and practical outcomes based training.
