About the programme:

The image management programme aims to assist participants to create and project positive and powerful first impressions. Furthermore also to maintain an image that contributes towards the organisational strategic intent. Some areas covered during the programme are:

  • Staff image and organisational strategic intent
  • The impact of first impressions
  • The power of boundary management
  • Ways in which clothing projects image (wardrobes & power)
  • Body language and non-verbal communication
  • Your stumbling blocks & resources towards powerful image

The workshop outcome:

On completion of this workshop participants should have the necessary skills to create and project a positive first and lasting impression.

Specific outcomes of the workshop content:

Participants will achieve the workshop outcome by being able to:

1. Understand how their image can contribute towards the organisational strategic intent.
2. Use clothing and non-verbal communication to create and project a lasting positive impression.
3. Know his/her own stumbling blocks and resources to creating a powerful image.
4. Use boundary management techniques to create a powerful image.

Training methodology:

The methodology is based on interactive learning, i.e. learners will learn by doing. Furthermore learners will use examples from their own personal lives and work environment, thus ensuring that the learning is anchored at their workplace and home.
