About the programme:

NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming and can be defined as ‘Programming the language of the brain’. It has a wide range of application and have been used successfully in the fields of psychology, training, individual development and management. Some well-known gurus in the field of NLP are Anthony Robbins and Mike Lipkin.
The programme is aimed at giving participants a solid introduction to NLP. Once this programme is completed interested parties will be able to complete a full NLP Practitioners Certification Programme.

The workshop objective:

After completion of this workshop the participant will understand the concept and application of NLP and be able to apply basic NLP techniques within his/her daily environment.

Programme Outcomes :

Participants will achieve the workshop outcome by being able to:

1. Define NLP and know its presuppositions
2. Understand the concept of representational systems
3. Apply calibration techniques
4. Work with predicates
5. Work with anchors
6. Establish report
7. Understand basic elements of the ‘Meta model’
8. Understand basic elements of the ‘Milton model’
9. Understand the NLP process
10. Apply basic NLP techniques

Included:

  • All programme materials and hand-outs
  • Marking of assignments
  • Issuing of certificate with credits on completion of the programme
  • Record keeping of all results and assessments in order for participants to receive recognition for prior learning through the National Qualifications Framework.

Training methodology:

The methodology is based on interactive learning, i.e. learners will learn by doing. Furthermore learners will use examples from their own organisations, thus ensuring that the learning is anchored at their workplace.
As with all DCT training programmes, we strive to effect actual change back at the workplace through effective and practical outcomes based training.
