Training methodology:
Teaching
by example and experiential learning probably describes the training methodology
most accurately. Participants will be actively involved in the learning
and the facilitators will apply the presentation techniques taught to
transfer learning.
The training programme is divided into a theoretical session of one day.
During this session the learner will be equipped theoretically in line
with all the above outcomes. This session will also include various practical
exercises where the learners will present on camera and each presentation
will be discussed and developmental areas addressed.
A
second session of one day will then be scheduled during which learners
will get the opportunity to do a presentation in their own field. Only
after being competent in this practical will the learner receive a certificate.
Practical assessment will ensure that participants are able to demonstrate
the specific workshop outcomes.
As with all DCT training programmes, we strive to effect actual change
back at the workplace through effective and practical outcomes based training.
